There is nothing worse than having to spend hours and hours of doing your makeup (And it still manages to melt away after only few hours) instead of soaking up the sunshine and spending wonderful moments around a tall glass of lemonade surrounded by friends and family! That is exactly why I decided to share with you my simple Summer makeup routine that is ultra light yet sophisticated. Another great advantage of this look is that you may transfer it from Day to Night in no time!
••Face:
1. L'Oreal Infallible 24h Foundation (130 True Beige)
-This foundation is ideal for Summer since it has a very decent coverage whilst still being very light on the skin. It's great for all skin types, but it does need some extra powdering throughout the day.
2. Mannhattan Wake Up Concealer (001 Naturelle)
-Hands down one of the best drugstore concealers that has such a beauuutiful, glowy finish that will for sure wake up all of our tired peeps' dark under eye circles and make us look fresh and well rested.
3. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (003 Peach Glow)
-Now, this one is a cult product that almost every beauty-lover out there knows about. It has been on the market for quite some time and let me tell you, It is definitely worth the hype! It makes my foundation last longer and matte without looking cakey.
4. Bourjois Baked Blush (95 Rose Jaspe)
-Perfect, every day blush that does not budge and will give you that glow from within. It contains no parabens and can last you for a good few months because a little goes a long way.
••Eyes/Eyebrows
1. NYX Cake Powder (03 Taupe/Ash)
-Dream color combo that comes with 2 different brow-eyeshadow, brow-gel (clear), spooly and angled brush, such a bargain if you ask me! It stays on for a long time and allows you to create your version of perfect brows in a minute!
2. Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner (261 Noir)
-Affordable, yet perfect to create a clean, crisp winged eyeliner or smudged, sultry eye-look that never goes out of style. It also comes with a tiny sharpener that allows you to have a new-like eyeliner whenever you'd want. I prefer the simple tight-lining in the outer corner for hot Summer days.
3. Max Factor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Voluminising Mascara (Black)
-This mascara is my absolute favorite of the bunch because of the incredible length and volume it gives my lashes. I even got asked If I've got extensions, nope, just a good mascara!
••Lips:
~Now this is where you can get extra creative and put your own personality into. You can either go very natural, daytime-appropriate or sophisticated, more night time-appropriate with some darker lip colors, I love them both!
1. Bourjois Velvet Lipstick (07 Nude-ist)
-Stays on all day with a great matte finish, no touch-ups needed and will make every look extra gorg.
2. L'Oreal Collection Privée (Julianne's Nude)
-Such a great nude pink that suits many skin colors. It's very moisturizing and the packaging is so sleek and pretty-looking, such a handbag candy!
