Artdeco Hello Sunshine Collection

Hello lovelies,

I've recently been shopping at one of our local drugstores and I came across the new Artdeco collection for the Summer called "Hello Sunshine" and no doubt, the bronzy packaging and the whole idea of sunshine was what has actually drawn me into checking it out.

Artdeco is a German brand of makeup and can usually be found in any European drugstore. The prices are a bit higher than the usual drugstore prices (probably in the same range as L'Oreal, Bourjois and Max Factor), but is definitely worth it because of the professional feel of the products.

The "Hello Sunshine" collection consists of bronzers, bronzer/blusher, lipsticks, golden bronze oil drops and a mascara.

The things that I've picked up and that I've been truly enjoying ever since I bought them are the Sun Blusher and Long Lashes Mascara.

The Sun Blusher

The Sun Blusher is a three-colour blusher which contains a bit of bronzer, blusher and a highlighter, all with a subtle hint of shimmer.

Since my skin is quite fair (especially after the long Winter months), it's a rare occasion that I come across a bronzer which doesn't look too orangy or cakey. This one on the other hand looks gorgeous on, especially if you combine it with golden/bronzy eye look! It gives a healthy glow to the skin making you look like you've just been to Greece for a vacation. *wink,wink*

Long Lashes Mascara

First of all, let's all take a moment to appreciate the beautiful rose gold packaging and mascara tube. The mascara has a 90-60-90 wand which happens to be one of my faves because it allows you to coat every single lash, even the tiniest ones!

If you're searching for a good, every day lengthening and defining mascara, this is the one for you. It contains Vitamin E and Panthenol and is formulated without perfume which is good for sensitive eyes and appropriate for contact lens wearers.
